Breathe This Air (2016)
Breathe This Air is a short film I did while attending a summer program at New York Film Academy. I was cast for the role of Henry, a man with some serious depression. He was a difficult character to play for me. This was my first time acting outside of a class setting. Henry was more complex than anyone I think I played up until that point. He's a man who has it all. A good paying job, a loving family and a beautiful home. However he's not happy. No matter how hard he tries. I've never played a unhappy man tryign to be happy beofre this. So check it out.
High Guys (2016)
Another short film that I was apart of. With the help of the Quinnipiac Film Society we were able to make this in one day. However as day light ran out we were forced to cut the production short. However this was a fun time. A lot of the roles I've had to do were emotionally draining. However I got to have fun with this one. Good times.
The Clean House (2016)
Sorry but no more videos for you. This was my first time acting on stage. In my first audition at school I was cast as Charles in The Clean House. This role was a lot of fun to play. Charles is a married doctor who found his soulmate. Juggling the playfulness of the character with the tough subject matter was hard to balance out. However I stuck to my training to get me through it. I remembered the objective of every scene I was in and had a lot of fun while doing it.
New Play Festival (2017)
Quinnipiac moved to the Big Apple for this day of student plays. With the help of The Barrow Group, Quinnipiac students were able to write, direct, act, and stage manage their own plays. I've never had a a chance like this. To collaborate with my peers and perform in New York City was a truly great experience. We performed in front of two back to back sold out audiences and put on something we could all be proud of. I was cast in two completely opposite roles. The first was Tim Rassi in Field of Trees. The second was Russel in Diversion. Tim was nervous, lacking confidence, and trying to figure out his life. Meanwhile Russel was a hostage who decided to use all his wit and charm to survive the situation he was in. I never had to play two characters in such a short time. I was happy to accept the challenge.
Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead (2017)
My last role turned out to be the most difficult. Role changes, Stage Manager changes and everything in between happened during this production. However we got through it all and had four amazing shows. This was my first role as the lead in a play. Lengthy monolouges and an excess amount of lines proved to be the least of my troubles. The play covers a lot of sensitive material and the cast and I wanted to make something that would touch the hearts of the audience. We also wanted to treat the material with the respect it deserved. This was a special one.
